Core Modules Available:
Basic
The basic system is the core component of the BOSS suite and provides the following functionality as standard:
Booking In of customer orders and raising of Job Cards.
Records all customer information and technical details of each job.
Fully integrated 'Live' Job Costing to capture all material and labour costs,     and to easily identify the work done.
Status management of all jobs from Work In Progress through to Invoiced.
Production of Delivery Notes and Invoices with relevant data provided.
Sales Ledger for production of Statements and Debtor tracking.
Enquiries and Reporting to show profitability of jobs, traceability of all work,     and extremely useful for customer service responses.
Evaluations, Warranty & Await Spares
These modules are designed to cover quoting, warranty claims and stock shortages respectively. Evaluations allow the user to estimate pricing and set pricing for standard repairs. The Warranty functionality provides accurate records of the number of claims made, accepted and rejected and produces analysis of common faults and highlights staff training issues. Await Spares allows the user to declare a shortage for a part and interfaces with the stock system to initiate an order for the item so the repair can be completed.
Stock
The stock system provides known part and price information to help supplement the job costing process. Provides detailed reporting on all stock usage, and automatically recommends [and orders] items for purchase based on part usage.
Purchasing
Allows orders to be raised for 3 types of items:- Stock, Miscellaneous and 4th Party Repair orders. The system handles the receipt and rejection of goods and provides excellent tracking and analysis of all purchases made.
Full Finance
Supplements the Sales Ledger with a Purchase Ledger and full Nominal Ledger accounts. Save a fortune in accountancy costs by producing your own Trial Balance, Profit & Loss statement, Balance Sheet, etc. with only basic book-keeping skills required.
