BPMA Golf Day 2016
24/05/16 Vale Resort plays host to BPMA Annual Golf Day
The BPMA held its 2016 Annual Golf Day on the Thursday 19th May at the prestigious Vale Resort in South Wales, where thirteen teams of four players braved The Welsh National Course.
Commenting on the quality of the golf being displayed, Steve Schofield, BPMA Director & Chief Executive, reported back from the first tee that, “almost without exception, all of the 52 players enjoyed excellent tee shots, with just a few feeling they could have done a little better!”

Despite a somewhat dubious weather forecast, the rain just about held off, with only the last two groups experiencing heavy showers over the closing few holes. The course was in excellent condition, helping to bring out the best in all the teams, with many players declaring that they had produced some of their best shots ever.
Following an excellent dinner served in the Vale Conservatory, with its spectacular views overlooking the course, Steve Schofield thanked all the Sponsors for their continued support of this annual event. Ken Hall, Managing Director of Calpeda UK thanked all the players for making the day such a huge success before announcing the final team scores. Trophies were then presented by Gary Cox of Flowserve, the sponsors of this year’s prize ceremony, as follows:
